What would be a good car to learn to drive manual transmition in?
Okay i’m ready to learn to drive stick shift and my family doesn’t own a stick car. So I was telling my mom it would be a good idea to go to a car dealer and “test drive” a car for a day or two and she could teach me and my brother to learn to drive stick. So I was just wondering if you had recomendations for a good first car to learn stick in.
P.S. I’m not looking to buy a stick shift just looking to learn to drive one.

Ford Focus
You can not drive the dealership’s car unless they specifically allow you to do so – in writing.

I learned on a stick shift in drivers ed. I learned on an older toyota however I also drove the ford focus. I drove the ford focus stick shift my first time ever on the road and it was pretty easy and i didn’t stall more than 4 times within 2 hours.

When people learn stick they generally need a used car that can take the abuse of a new driver…. it wouldn’t be a good idea to learn on a brand new car that you don’t own because if something gets damaged the liability falls on you. I recommend waiting until your family owns a manual vehicle.

Get a cheap 200$ car with manual trans, then junk it

Oh my goodness! an incredible post dude. Appreciate it Even so I are going to be experiencing problem with ur rss . Do not know why Can not enroll in it. Could there be any person obtaining identical rss problem? Any one who knows kindly respond. Thnkx
