What course does one study if you want to learn how to work on computerized car systems and repair them ?

I don’t just want to be able to detect faults in cars electronically but i want to be able to repair them mechanically .

Is there a professional course for this as i will soon bag a degree in Economics but i’d like to be able to repair cars instead and not a trial n error mechanic.

    Auto garages that have certified technicians are the ones to ask directly, but vo-tech can probably get you started. Since everything is computerized. dealerships may have their own training centers.
