How often should I change my oil ?

Most cars needs oil change every 3000 miles. This is the usual and inexpensive procedure. Many shops offers fast, no-appointment oil change and takes just about half an hour. The price will depend on the type of vehicle you are driving. The normal cost would be around 30-50 dollars and usually higher for trucks and SUVs since it requires more oil to change.

Not everyone agrees that a car needs an oil change. Some experts suggest that the manufacturer’s instructions stating “for every 3000 or 5000 miles, the oil needs to be changed” is a scam to get more out of car owners.

Many car manufacturers now offer loans or leases on new cars with service agreements. The agreement includes a routine check-up and oil change without charge, but owners must follow the normal servicing requirements. The owner should prove one has serviced the vehicle and for every 3000 miles had an oil change to prevent additional charges.

It is still best to check with the manufacturer’s recommendations regarding when to get an oil change. If you purchased an old car, you can either check online for the car’s manual or order one. A regular oil change will extend the life of your car.

One thing I would like to say is that before acquiring more computer memory, check out the machine directly into which it would be installed. Should the machine is actually running Windows XP, for instance, the particular memory threshold is 3.25GB. The installation of more than this would merely constitute just a waste. Make sure one’s mother board can handle your upgrade volume, as well. Good blog post.
