How much weight per week should you gain when working toward a healthier weight?

I am almost done gaining the weight back from my eating disorder. I still need to gain around 7 pounds to get my periods back. How much more calories should I eat weekly? How many pounds (or fractions of a pound) should I look for?

Melting calories was much easier for me when I began using acai berry. I know they say that pills do not work, however they sure worked for me, and they have been shown on CBS News too. There is a free trial on currently at http://pitars.easyweightloss2u.info , try it out, what have you got to lose?

The maximum amount of HEALTHY weight you can gain is 1-2 pounds a week. Anything over 2 pounds is considered fat because it is impossible for the body to gain mass=good weight without gaining bad fat as well.
So try to keep it under 2 pounds a week, 1 is better. A goal of about 5 pounds per month is best. dont go over, keep it steady.

For calories, it really depends on your metabolism. Anyone trying to gain weight should have a minimum of 3000 calories a day, this is a good goal, start out with this, but if you see you DIDNT gain weight the first week, increase it by 1000, or even 2000 and see whats best for you.
I try to eat 5000 when gaining weight, and gain about 1.5 pounds a week, but I have a very fast metabolism.

    Goodluck!!

PS. and personally, I think this acai berry thing spreading around on all these weight-related questions is a bunch of crap, that will not help you.
