Personal expenses are not deductible.

No to personal travel for pleasure.
Yes to personal travel to receive medical care.
A portion (not all) of the difference in the value of the car immediately before wrecking and the value of the wrecked car immediately after wrecking (before repairing) is deductible as a casualty expense. This difference is usually assumed to be the same as the repair cost. Again, only a portion, not all, of this is deductible. Note that you deduct it on the return for the year of the wreck, not the return for the year of the repairs.

You can’t deduct any of your personal travel expenses.
If you weren’t reimbursed for the accident expenses, you might be able to claim a casualty loss on schedule A for part of that expense if you itemize. But if you COULD have been reimbursed, and just didn’t turn it in, you can’t get a deduction.
