Do you have to declare motorbike insurance claims on a new car insurance policy?

My husband is about to get a car after years riding a motorbike, he has had a few claims on his motorbike insurance. I was wondering if we had to declare them to the car insurance provider or if this wasn’t neccesary as its a different type of vehicle.

Yes you do. If you have an accident and the insurers find out they will used it as a way of avoiding paying out which really screws you up. They only ask about any accidents in the last 3 or 5 years at the most. Anything outside this time period wont be relevant.

Just try a few online companies for quotes and if you have no claims built up on the bike let them know as they may take this into account

It’s awesome to go to see this web site and reading the views of all mates concerning this post, while I am also keen of getting know-how.
